Your Voice Matters: Let's Talk About What's Really Happening with Managers

Defining your personal values as a leader

We've spent years working with managers across the UK, and we keep seeing the same story play out. Brilliant people get promoted into management roles because they're great at their jobs, but then they're left to figure out the 'people bit' all by themselves.

Defining your personal values as a leader

Sound familiar?

Here's what really concerns us: 82% of managers are what we call "accidental" - they got the job with barely any training or support. Many of us at tyllr have been there ourselves. Nobody taught us how to have difficult conversations, handle team conflicts, or balance everyone's needs while still getting the job done.

The impact is profound. Our research shows that 57% of people end up leaving their jobs because of their managers. Even more concerning, 69% of employees say their manager affects their mental health as much as their partner does. Managers make or break their team’s experience of work.

Why This Matters Now

At tyllr, we exist because we believe managers deserve better. We've created a platform that combines essential leadership skills with personal wellbeing support. But for us to truly transform workplace leadership, we need to understand what managers are experiencing right now.

Why This Matters Now

That's why we've partnered with PXhub to launch this survey. Together, we want to get to the heart of what it's really like being a manager today. We believe we're at a turning point. The way we work is changing rapidly - hybrid teams, multiple generations working together, increasing emphasis on wellbeing and inclusion. Managers are expected to navigate all of this while still hitting their targets and keeping their teams motivated.

It's a lot. Too much, sometimes.

Creating Real Change Together

We understand that self-care and development go hand in hand. When one is nurtured, the other thrives. That's why we focus on both at tyllr, providing managers with tools for leadership excellence alongside resources for personal growth and wellbeing.

Creating Real Change Together

Alongside PXhub's innovative Px3™ model, we aim to help connect the dots between what managers think, how they feel, and what they do. This means we can turn your feedback into real, actionable solutions that work.

If you're:

  • Juggling multiple priorities while trying to support your team
  • Managing your own wellbeing while leading others
  • Finding it hard to switch off from work
  • Wondering if other managers face the same challenges

Then we need your voice. Your experiences - both challenges and successes - are key to understanding what managers really need to thrive.

Ready to help shape the future of leadership?

Here’s the survey https://survey.pxhub.io/r/tyllr

We promise it won't take long to complete. Your responses will be completely confidential, and we'll share the findings with everyone who participates.

This isn't just about collecting data - it's about building something that really works for you and managers across all industries. We believe in a future where every manager has the support they need to lead with confidence and authenticity, while maintaining their own wellbeing. That's why we created tyllr, and it's why we're conducting this survey with PXhub.

When managers are supported and empowered, everyone benefits. Your teams thrive, your organisations succeed, and you get to lead with purpose and joy.

Thank you for your support.

This is a joint initiative between tyllr and PXhub. Together, we're transforming workplace leadership by putting managers first.
